The full form of BBA is Bachelor of Business Administration, which has become one of the most trending careers in India. The BBA course imparts knowledge about the business and its management, managerial skills, decision-making skills, entrepreneurial and communication skills.

What is BBA Course?

 It is a Bachelor’s degree in a Business Administration that a candidate can pursue immediately after completing XII standard from a recognised college or university with an aggregate of a minimum 50%. The candidate of any stream can easily opt for a career, be it science, commerce or arts. The duration of the course is 3 years and can be done on a correspondence or distance learning basis.

BBA is a three-year full-time course wherein the first two years the subjects are similar for all the students pursuing the course, but in the final year, one has to choose the specialization according to their preference and also needs to go for an internship. Most colleges and universities provide the three common specializations, such as:

Entrance Exams for BBA

AIMA UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test)
Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is conducted by AIMA once a year to screen the candidates for different undergraduate courses such as BBA, BCA, B.Com., BHM and Integrated MBA (IMBA).

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies conducts a university level entrance exam once a year to screen the candidates for undergraduate courses such as BBA, B.Com and B.Arts.

Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU JAT) is a national level entrance test conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) every year for the candidates seeking admissions for various courses such as BBA, BMS and BA Hons in Business Economics. Admissions for DU JAT is offered in 16 colleges affiliated with Delhi University.

Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGS IPU) which is a national level exam conducted once a year. The candidates seeking admissions in various undergraduate and Post-graduate courses such as management studies, medicine, engineering and law can apply for it.

Banaras Hindu University Undergraduate Entrance Test (BHU UET) is a national level exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) once every year for the candidates seeking admissions in courses such as vocational courses, B.Com, LLB, B.Ed, B.A. and B.Sc.

Flame Entrance Aptitude Test (FLAME) is a national level exam conducted by Flame University once every year based on multiple admission cycles to various courses, such as BBA, B.Sc and BA.

  • The salary of an experienced individual with 2 to 3 years can be somewhere between Rs 25,000 to 35,000 per month.
  • The salary with experience of 3 to 6 years can be somewhere between Rs 35,000 to 50,000 per month.
